Biodiesel Shares Stage at Fan Fair

6/8/07 - If you are in the Nashville neighborhood for Fan Fair this weekend, you’ll see biodiesel sharing the stage with the country music stars.

The New Holland Company is inviting Biodiesel Alliance and Backer members to join them at two events this weekend at the Country Music Association Fan Fair Music Festival. Both events are open to the public at no charge.

National Biodiesel Board CEO Joe Jobe will join New Holland for a celebrity tractor race at 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, June 10, at the CMA Music Festival Sports Zone. All the tractors will be running on biodiesel. Celebrity drivers will include singer Tanya Tucker, Tennessee Titan Rob Bironas, the manager of Jay Leno’s garage Bernard Juchli and others.

On Saturday and Sunday, you can also see the biodiesel-powered GM EcoJet created by Tonight Show host Jay Leno. The EcoJet is crossing America as part of the Hot Rod Magazine tour. It should arrive on Saturday, June 9, and will be parked in the Chevy Sports Zone at Fan Fair Music Fest.
