Destiny USA

Destiny USA, located in Syracuse, NY, has been billed as the largest facility of its kind to be powered by renewable energy sources. This large retail and office development project is using biodiesel-powered construction equipment as part of their effort to operate without the use of fossil fuels.

They use B100 from about April through October of each year and B20-B50 blends the remaining months of the year. They have also had success stories with contractors now using biodiesel blends on other projects after first using it on their site. AP Reale & Sons - an excavation contractor our of Ticonderoga, NY -- is one example. They were the largest consumer of biodiesel and also the first on site to agree to the B100 program.
