Joe Jobe, executive director
of the National Biodiesel Board, fills up his Ford F350 pickup truck,
"Old Bleu," with B20 at a Conoco station in Jefferson City, Mo. Naturally,
he’s
a big fan of the fuel.
“It performs just like diesel fuel in
terms of power and fuel economy,” he said. “The main difference
is the lack of visible smoke or offensive odor. When I start it up
in my garage, which is in the basement of my home, there is a noticeable
difference in the smell that fills the garage and basement. It is
a pleasant reminder that my children are not breathing in toxic fumes.”

His car is an '87 190D Mercedes diesel,
named Mary (purchased on Christmas Eve) and his van is a '94
Chevy van, named Morrison.
