not automatic - use earlier revision, until law / regulations revised

TESTING PROGRAMS
  Proactive Tests
Gasoline only. Purchasing equipment for the lab is an issue so arranging for a state lab to provide low-cost testing for MI is being explored.

  Reactive Test Circumstance
Gasoline samples are obtained for complaints, randomly and for compliance follow up.

  Fuel Test Performed

  Where Sampled
Producer; Retailer; Terminal / Blender

  Where Tested
State's In-House Lab

  Penalties
Progressive enforcement: Administrative fines range from $200 to over $10,000. Civil Prosecution: $1,000 per day for labeling violations and $10,000 per violation. Criminal Prosecution: $10,000 per violation License Revocation
