  Statutory/Regulatory Citation
Section 16.001, Agriculture Code, is amended (May 2009) to read Biodiesel" means a motor fuel that meets the registration requirements for fuels and fuel additives established by the EPA under Section 211 of the federal Clean Air Act (42 U.S.C. Section 7545)as mono-alkyl esters of long chain fatty acids derived from vegetable oils and animal fats and meets the requirements of ASTM specification D-6751, and authorized a net .168 per gallon incentive for biodiesel producers up to a max of $3.024M per producer per year. Currently, no funding is allocated for this incentive program.
